Hey there!

Recently, I tried to get all of my files from our old Acer laptop (which we’ve been using since … hmm, 2009 or 2010?) and yep, since the it’s been too long that it was not maintained, it probably has a virus or something. I had my 15gb worth of files transferred to another device and guess what? I don’t know how but it was deleted automatically by the computer where I tried to view it. I don’t have the right words to describe how devastated I felt that day. That one folder contains all my files through out my college years! All the photos, the notes, music… EVERYTHING! And since I am not a techy person, I do not have an idea how to recover them on my own. I know there’s a way to recover deleted files, but I’m not sure how.

I asked my fiance how – he just said it would be hard to recover it. I was like “WTF?! You call yourself an IT professional and you cannot help me recover my files? You can’t even offer ways on how to actually do that?!” – well, I didn’t shouted those things at him but it just added to my frustration. Good thing I have my brother and he’s the one who took care of it. He didn’t explain the specifics but  he said that we can actually recover it since the files were completely deleted, the things that we will recover might already be corrupted.

We were able to recover the files and until now, I still can’t fully check all my files (I’m afraid that they might get deleted again). Well, here are three of the photos that we recovered.

OH NO! :O I’m glad you managed to hold on to these beautiful photos at least though, there are other expensive professional services offered by some businesses that somehow manage to recover files but oof losing that much :O
